WHAT DID THE LIZARD SAY…? E.g. that this is finally, maybe, a swan song. If we consider cause and effect relationships, this painting was not supposed to have been created, since the artist, in the course of the affective-metaphysical research of the creative processes, ventured into such realms – let us call this process an inward buccaneering - that, according to his present concepts, he focuses almost exclusively on the operations of the mind without formal manifestations. However, on this level, causality no longer works. In this perspective (or rather, in this lack of perspective), the work is neither the aim nor the medium. Formal manifestation can only be regarded as a peripheral by-product of the depth-psychological experimentation that turns everything upside down. Such as, for example, this painting. It is most expressive if compared to the mist arising from a waterfall.
